Ki Jin Kim

Ki Jin Kim is an award-winning Korean filmmaker based in Los Angeles, and founding member of Nonetheless Productions. With partner Giulia Caruso, he was nominated for the 2018 Piaget Producers Award. Ki Jin won an Independent Spirit Award for Spa Night and an LA-Emmy for producing KCET’s docuseries Lost LA. His feature Columbus was nominated for several Gotham and Spirit Awards. Upcoming projects include the Greek-French co-production Holy Emy (dir. Araceli Lemos), premiering at Locarno 2021, Vera Brunner-Sung's sophomore feature Bitterroot, and Moonshadow, in development with Gunpowder & Sky and Justin Lin’s YOMYOMF, to be directed by Silas Howard. Under the Nonetheless banner, Ki Jin has produced award winning short films and content for clients such as MTV, Intel, GoPro, including the Sundance shorts “Myrna the Monster” (dir. Ian Samuels) and “Deer Flower” (dir. Kangmin Kim). Ki Jin is an alum of Sundance, IFP, IFFR, and the Cannes Producers’ Network.
