Soraya Sélène is a cinematographer and director working in narrative, documentary and experimental works. The recipient of several awards for her short films, feature credits include cinematographer on Half The Picture (2018 Sundance Film Festival) and Normal Never Worked (in production), a personal lyrical documentary which explores education in this disruptive moment. A native of NYC, Soraya received her MFA in Film Production & Cinematography from UCLA and her BA from Wesleyan. She has taught at UCLA, Chapman, and CSU Long Beach, among other schools.
