Robert has been a professional animator for 20 years, specializing in 2D and CG. After earning his Bachelor's in Illustration from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, he worked at Walt Disney Feature Animation on films including The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan, Fantasia 2000, The Emperor's New Groove, Treasure Planet, and Home on the Range. Subsequently, at DreamWorks Feature Animation, Robert worked as a 2D character animator on Sinbad, and as a CG character animator on Shrek 2, Shrek the Halls, Over the Hedge, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, The Croods, and more. Robert has also worked at other studios, including James Baxter Animation Studio, Imagi, Sony Feature Animation, and Ken Duncan Studio. Robert is currently a full-time faculty member in the Character Animation program, teaching 2D and CG animation.
